All you need to know about Wood Tech Summit

What is Wood Tech Summit?

Wood Tech Summit is a premier industry event that brings together woodworking professionals, innovators, and technology experts to explore the intersection of craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. It includes informative sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. The summit features multiple panel discussions with attendee-submitted questions creating a unique immersive experience.

When and where is  Wood Tech Summit taking place?

The summit is scheduled to take place from March 13-15th in Ogden, Utah. All summit activities and dinners are within walking distance of the hotel and venue.  The first two days are focused on learning and innovating, while the third day is skiing with fellow attendees.

What topics will be covered at the Wood Tech Summit?

The summit will cover various topics, including new software trends, machine and office automation, selling/passing on a shop to the next generation, data storage and safety, and hands-on training workshops. For a full list of topics, visit the Agenda page.

Can I suggest a topic or speaker for the summit?

Absolutely! We welcome suggestions for topics and speakers. Please reach out to us through the Contact page with your recommendations.

Is there a cost to attend the Wood Tech Summit?

Yes, there is a registration fee to attend the summit. You can find detailed information on pricing and registration on our Registration page.

What is included with my registration?

All Registrations include unlimited access to the Summit, (including panels, hands-on training, breakout sessions, vendors, and demos) a welcome package with badges, merchandise, and program, as well as networking dinners on March 13th and 14th. Dinners will be at great local restaurants with a select menu and bar.

We offer a few different tiers of registration for those who are local and non-local, as well as those who do or do not wish to ski. The All-Inclusive package includes hotel accommodations for 3 nights, as well as your day pass and transportation to Snowbasin Resort, to reference all other package options please visit the Registration page.

Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend?

Tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the event. Within 30 days they are non-refundable. However, you can transfer your registration to another individual if you are unable to attend. Please contact our support team for assistance through the Contact page.

Will there be networking opportunities at the Wood Tech Summit?

Absolutely! The summit includes various networking sessions, panel discussions, dinners, and social events to provide ample opportunities for attendees to connect with industry peers and experts.

What safety measures are in place for in-person events?

The safety and well-being of our attendees are our top priorities. We will follow all recommended safety guidelines and protocols. Details will be provided closer to the event date.

Is there an optional skiing day, and how can I participate?

Yes, there is an optional skiing day on Day 3 of the summit. To participate, please select the option during the registration process. More information will be provided as the event approaches.

How can I become a sponsor or exhibitor at the Wood Tech Summit?

Getting to Ogden from SLC Airport

Ogden, Utah (and Wood Tech Summit) is a 40 min. drive North from SLC Airport. We recommend using a ride-share service, like Uber, Taxi, or Lift. Once you arrive at the hotel, all activities are within walking distance, and we have arranged for transportation to and from Snowbasin Resort.

Is there a dresscode for the event? 

Business Casual is the recommended attire for the event.
